Gord McKay stands at the entrance to the village of Monchy Le Preux France just a few kilometers east of Arras. His Great Uncle Sgt. Gordon McKay was attached to the 36th battery of the 9th Canadian Field Artillery. In the fields to the right of the sign he was killed on September 1st 1918.
